In this session, delegates will gain an overview of all the newly published resources from the Education Endowment Foundation. These resources are designed to support schools and families during the school closures. They include tools that teachers and leadership teams can use to set work for students and communicate most effectively with families. There are also resources that schools can share directly with families covering areas such as reading and daily routines. The session will also provide delegates with an insight into the research evidence in this area.

Meet the facilitator

Dr Caroline Creaby, Deputy Headteacher and Research School Director, Sandringham School

Caroline is an economics teacher and has taught in Hertfordshire schools for over 15 years. As a school leader, Caroline has led on several strategic areas including curriculum, teaching and learning and teacher professional learning. She is committed to research use in education and gained her education doctorate in 2016. Since 2017, Sandringham School has been designated as a national Research School and Caroline is its Director.
