This network is a chance for Heads of Science and Teachers of Science to get together to discuss current issues in Secondary Science Education.

This course is hosted at various schools throughout the Alban TSA network and twilight sessions will be held termly from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, 9th October 2018
  • Tuesday, 12th February 2019
  • Thursday, 27th June 2019

  • Discuss changes to the science curriculum
  • Discuss the challenges facing Heads of Science

Meet the facilitator

Sam Head is currently Director of Learning of a large Science faculty at Sandringham School. He was KS4 Coordinator at a school in West London as well as Assistant Head of Year. Sam moved back to Hertfordshire in 2015 where he became ADoL at Sandringham with responsibility for KS4, before progressing to Head of Department.
