Music Teacher Network 2018-19

This network is a chance for teachers of music to get together to discuss current issues and changes in the secondary music curriculum.

This course is hosted at Sandringham School in St Albans and consists of twilight sessions which run from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on the following dates:

  • Monday 22nd October 2018
  • Monday 25th February 2019
  • Monday 3rd June 2019

On this programme participants will:

  • Discuss changes to the music curriculum.
  • Discuss the challenges facing teachers of music.
  • Share best practice.

Meet the facilitators:

Amy Stothard

Amy is the Director of Music at Sandringham School which is part of the BSV consortium. She is committed to increasing participation in music and singing, which has led to her involvement in a range of research projects, including on composing and growth mindset over the last few years. She has been a trainer for the Hertfordshire Music NQTs for the last 4 years and is a strong believer in sharing ideas and good practice across schools.
