Stress and Relaxation: strategies to support wellbeing in your school 2020-21

In this session we will be discussing what stress is, how we need just the right amount of it, why sometimes we might have too much of it, and top tips for looking after ourselves (and each other)  to avoid the consequences of chronic stress.  These principles apply to all of us, whether teachers or pupils.

This will be a live webinar at 4pm on Wednesday, 7th October 2020.    Once you have made your booking you will receive a booking confirmation.  This will be followed up during the week before the event with a joining link for this live session.

This session will also be recorded.  To receive a recording of this please make your booking as normal and this will be shared with you after the event.

Who is this course for?

All staff and particularly relevant for Wellbeing leads in schools and teachers or support staff with an interest in supporting staff wellbeing. The strategies discussed could then also be used to support students within your context.

Dr Richard Pile, GP specialising in Lifestyle Medicine and co-founder of Living Life Better

I am a GP partner with a special interest in cardiovascular and lifestyle medicine.  I’m a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and have written for the British Medical Journal, the European Medical Journal as well as doing some blogging and podcasting and am writing my first book, due for publication next year. I live in St Albans with my family and enjoy mountain biking, running and taking my dog to the pub.
