Yoga For Schools – Building Confidence and Self-Esteem 2020-21

Next Session: December 4, 2020 | 9:00am - 3:00pm

This session will take place from 9am to 3.00pm on Friday, 4th December as a Zoom session.   There will be a maximum of 15 delegates which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

A very relaxing day in which you will learn four 30-minute yoga routines, 4 breathing techniques and 4 relaxations/meditations.

No experience of yoga is necessary just a willingness to learn more about the huge benefits that yoga has on children’s physical and mental health and well-being.

The course is being used all over the UK with over 5,000 teachers and 1 million children already using the programme with great results.

The course will be held online via Zoom and enough space will be needed to comfortably use a yoga (or some form of exercise) mat.

This is a train the trainer opportunity and you will receive the days training, audio files, together with a teaching file with full colour student and teacher cards. The routines are suitable for use with all ages from 5 to 18 and special needs.

Meet the facilitator

Trish Munro has been a fully trained yoga teacher for over 18 years and is dedicated to inspiring young and old alike. Learning just a few simple practices will help to develop a healthier body and mind – enabling everyone to live a more fulfilling and happier life.

Trish founded The Yoga Factory, which specialises in writing courses for teachers to teach in school. She wants all children to learn about, and understand, the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind. She has devised a series of simple exercises revolving around breath control and relaxation to create structured routines that can be delivered by teachers or classroom assistants in schools. It is estimated that over a million children are now benefiting from the routines and that number continues to grow daily.
