Research and Development
The AlbanTSA works in partnership with Sandringham School, a Research School, which uses evidence and works with the research community to ensure that students within its network receive the best education possible.
Research Schools (a collaboration between the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Institute for Effective Education (IEE)) aim to lead the way in the use of evidence-based practice.
Through the Research School and AlbanTSA networks, Sandringham will share what they know about putting research into practice, and will support schools to make better use of evidence to inform their teaching and learning so that they really make a difference in the classroom. Schools within the AlbanTSA will be able to access opportunities through the Research Schools’ network which will allow them to enhance their knowledge, refine practice in the classroom and provide students with rich new learning experiences.
The Research School’s work will focus on three strands: communication of current research findings, training events and supporting schools in leading innovation projects.
